Color matched to your truck??? That's a lot of white up front. I like the black center insert.
You could go to home depot or Lowes and see if you can find some steel grating like for a fireplace screen. See if they have a section large enough to cover the grill area and make a new metal insert. Paint white and good to go.

Fire screen??? That's pretty much what I have. I just bought it to fit. Its easy to make. is you bezel still good? I just car gooped the mesh on to the bezel. You probably could go white as well.

Ohhh yeah I totally agree, even if gone through I might have changed it, I like color match but too much white is a little overboard for me and even "girly"

Thinking I might try Berliner or line x and match it, any suggestions? I saw u can't buy line x? Or is Berliner the best option? I know I can't be picking but I might want the smoothest option

I think you're trying to spend $40 and hours of work.. to save $40.

I'd start with a new one. Advice from an amateur paint/body person.

Man has a point. If the base coat wasn't so shitty you didn't have to chase fixing it. Send it back and say it's a POS and demand a refund. At the minimum get a discount for the new one. Come back and report :bananadance:

They mightmake white plastidip. I like the bedliner spray better though. Black on white stormtrooper look might be a little too common on here, but how many of those do you actually see out driving around on the street?

Derp doesn't have enough volume for that, and besides that, the grill is fucking melted bros.

Can't fix melted without re-coating the whole thing and burying it in body filler. Then you're reshaping everything by hand.

I don't see a solution for fixing it except replacing or burying it with something with volume and mass like LineX or similar. Then you're spending $100, instead. :notsure:

I decided to go ahead and email them about the product and see what they said, along with a small tab that was snapped when I got it, which I didn't care about becuase it sat firm but now they might send a new one and I can get it right, if not looks like some bedliner will do the trick!
