Almost 59k miles and I keep it under 2000 rpms except on highway because 6th gear has to be that high

The same people that get 14 mpg with their Tacoma will be complaining they can't get the MPG numbers with an ecoboost. Others will easily get way better than EPA.

    Best advice yet, MountainEarth!

I really wish I had this kind of guidance when I was your age, ToyotaKTMracing. Sell the truck, get something cheap. Live simple and debt free now, and you'll be sittin' well for years to come :)

Did they ever fix the brake issues with the Titan/Armada?

My last boss ended up getting his wife's Armada bought back under lemon law and he bought her the Sequoia he knew he should have bought in the first place.

Blacked out badges, weathertechs, painted grill, cut tailpipe, removed mud flaps, black head lights, red calipers, tinted tails, front and rear bilsteins are here along with fatbobs spacer and aal awaiting install, also a set of 16 inch pro comps are here and 265/75/16 dynapros
I think there is a reason for the 14mpg, id do a full tune up before dumping the truck. Also whenever I pick up my siblings they cram in my access cab fine. Bed cover ftw. Your not a limo your buddies can be cramped. And when HS is over your not dragging people around nearly as much. I could understand if you had twins on the way

A few thing to be prepared for on the 2nd gen titans (08+)
    The have these problems

The front struts will blow out before 50k miles,
The front rotors warp very easily even under normal driving conditions
be prepared to replace the radiator ever 30-40k the blow the plastic end caps off frequently
the transmission cool is build into the radiator and also blow out and leak on a regular basis
    The rear axle seals leak
the pain is paper thin and will chip and scratch easily
The aftermarket support is no where near that of the tacoma.
the axel was redesigned in 2008 so you won't destroy the pumpkin.
The Front driver CV shaft will pop out on you whole turning right in 4wd

Ask me how I know all this... and why i no longer own a Titan.

Good points. I might keep it. But if I don't, it looks like I'll get another taco if I can find a good deal.

Never had any problems with arm rests? Friend of mine went through 5 arm rests in a year. Gave him a new seat each time.

BTW, I like your truck. I used to want black. Parents talked me out of it and got silver. Kinda wish I got black.

I had the front bench seat. Also the 04-07 has issues with the passenger seat backrest shaking. the TSB calls for a brace to be welded in.

Lol. I'm just saying. I'll have a job then and I would get a truck before I have any kids so I would be good.

You think you can get married and still get to make decisions about your money.

    That is precious.
