I briefly owned a 2013 Frontier. I really liked it! I swapped it for the Tacoma because I found a good deal on a manual transmission DCSB with the TRD package. Otherwise, I would have been very happy keeping the Frontier. Hell, if I had the money, I would have kept both.

Nissan makes a great product, in my opinion. (Please be gentle on me)

There seems to be a lot of previous Frontier owners on this thread that had no issues with their truck but just wanted to trade up. That goes to show that there are other reliable midsize trucks out there.

I bought a new 06 Frontier Nismo KC 4x4 6 speed in 06, power wise it would gap a Taco at any speed, drove it 10 years, rear wheel seal was the only problem, warranty took care of that. The person that said it's ugly? Unless Nissan likes ugly they made that body style for 11 years, have you looked at the front end on the 16 Taco? Looks like a 1994 Dodge Ram lol. That hood is long! I would have went with a new 16 Frontier but it's what I had for the last 10 years, and I didn't want Nissan to have a new model in 17 and be stuck with a 16.
