    Timing off the line that we don't have access to adjust causing the annoying shutter/stutter.
    Additional tables on other calibrations of the ecm not available to my calibration. Asked hptuners about it without answers one way or the other.
    Nit-picky stuff for sure. Hence I look forward to seeing what ovtune can bring to the table.

    Is Ovtune working on our trucks again or is this his self tuning software? Prior experience dealing with him was horrible. Good for canned tunes but he didn't have the time or inclination for custom tunes for everyone.

    He largely abandoned the second Gen's because third Gen's are his bread and butter. And I know a third gen guy who's been getting frustrating dealing with him for his turbo kit.

    That's a common theme it seems with him/his products. Time will tell what happens. I'll reiterate I'm happy with hptuners and my build wouldn't work without it without going complete stand alone like a haltech.

    Yes. The engine is a 2015, with 2012+ gaskets with pre 2012 URD headers. Going strong one year later with this set up.

    I continue to lurk through build threads and man....... so many gems.....

    I would love the extra displacement that’s for sure, don’t know if my wallet can do it for a while... like how you found a newer engine to do it, they’re hard to find up here for some reason

    dumb question I know and probably not a straightforward answer but what is the optimal boost for an engine like this with the extra displacement?

    Hard to say what boost it could handle but in theory more than stock. My thoughts when building it were to be able to push 20psi with realistic plans to never go past say 18psi. The trd/Magnusson Sc will never get it that high realistically it's just too small of a sc in terms of displacement. A turbo or different supercharger would be needed. As it sits- I rarely push past 10psi
