No problem, on your end, could you check your cold start and warm voltage possibly? For 3rd gen

Ill verify with mike, if one of you folks with the 3rd gen could use a multi meter and see what cold and warm voltage is that would also help to see if its even needed or not.

I'm pretty confident it's needed on a 3rd gen, but I'll get some numbers shortly.
My question is more along the lines of is Toyota still using the exact same method/programming to regulate the voltage, are the pigtail connectors the same, etc.

13.9 at idle, cold start, measured at the battery
13.1 - 13.4 after fully warmed up, according to ECU
13.5 - 13.6 after fully warmed up, measured at the battery

Though it's very possible these are higher than they might otherwise be because I got home from a trip last night and left the fridge running on the battery, so it was somewhat drained.

Thanks for checking, and this makes sense. I have no problem being able to check the voltage all the time, as I have a Scanguage, and I am constantly monitoring it. I would just want verification that this will work with the sensing logic on a 3rd Gen. I know voltage numbers were already provided, but I would be happy to provide my numbers tomorrow if you like while we wait for an update.
    Thanks

Doesn't matter if the 4th gen 4runner is a V8? If so, I'm gonna be in for this also
