    You can put a heater on it, but gas/electric bill. And risk of cracks and warping too

    For instance; building a deck with treated wood.
    It's recommended to wait minimum 3 months for it to dry before stain or paint

    you can DIY oven dry it but don't burn the house down.

    Cut and retape some boxes to make an enclosed space around the bench. Make an opening at floor to point a space heater into it. Make a small vent at opposite end from heater near top. Heater on low for a few hours.

    If you flick a drop of water and it beads on the wood, it's likely not going to hold paint/stain very well.

    I've built a lot of furniture in a humid garage over the years...

    Had a nice wedding gift I built for my sister almost ruined at the end trying to get the paint to stick & cure right.
