Been slacking on updating this thing.

Here's a little project I just did, figured I'd have a little fun and document it. No making fun of my workspace, I do everything in my shed, it's the only space I have for now and I've got 50 million tools shoved in there. Plus I did this while trying to prep dinner for the wife and kid, so I had to be quick, lol

Battery hold down modification to accomodate Diehard Platinum 34M

First, I lit the oven to preheat it for dinner, lol

Next, I cut off one of the battery guides
    [IMG]

I used that old guide as a length template to mark a piece of 1/2" angle iron
    [IMG]

Then I mocked it on the battery for fitment and made a mark
    [IMG]

Then drilled a hole to spot weld through... didn't really need to do this, i was just following along the way it originally was assembled.

I spot welded through the hole, then also laid a bead for extra stability since this battery is bigger and heavier than the OEM size
    [IMG]

All done, I hit it with some satin black rustoleum, waiting for that to dry to hit the other side then she gets installed... oh, I cleaned the whole thing up with a wire wheel before paint

No updates for a while, haven't had time in months to really get shit done on this pig...I have a stockpile of parts waiting to go on... I did manage to install an All Pro rear bumper, I'm severely lacking on photos, I'll try to catch up soon........So here's the latest:

Broke out the Lincoln welder and prepped the stanchions for the 4xInnovations sliders
    [IMG]

Here's a list of parts sitting in the corner waiting for me to have free time:
    Rock Sliders
    All Pro Upper Control Arms
    National Luna Battery Management kit
    Bud Built Skidplates
    Mean Green 200amp Alternator

Next item planned for purchase is most likely going to be an onboard air system of some kind

If it's not that, then it will be a Prinsu roof rack if he happens to come out with one any time soon for the 01-04 DC

Looking to get these sliders done by this friday.... more to follow with pics soon.... ;););):D:D:D:cool::cool::cool:

Sliders are on :D:D:D Woohoo.... I like them, of course I had to test them out after finishing up the welding

Went out and did a little camping after getting those on

The truck is progressing along slowly, and she does everything I want her to do so far... I plan to test it out on some more treacherous trails, possibly in the near future, depends how my schedule works out.

Alternator is scheduled for delivery today, so that might get installed over the weekend along with the battery management system.
