I like. I'm curious to see the black horse roll bar. I've had one on my F150 yet I don't see Tacoma's with roll bars.

I had the N-Fab on my 2013, which I loved. I test fit it on this truck and it didn't work at all for me. The thicker bars of the Black Horse are appealing. I like the GoRhino bar more aesthetically, but the idea of drilling the bed sides doesn't work for me (as well as the 2x price).

See what the future holds as I need to save up a ton more money.

That's another thing for me to, the black horse on my F150 had to be drilled, I also had some other permanent modifications. I'm trying to avoid all that permanent modifications on my Tacoma, because if at some point I don't like/want it. It can come right off.
I do like the Colorado roll bar from their factory

The Black Horse is mounted without drilling as it hits the rail system. I saw photos of that exact bar on FB a few days back. The N-Fab didn't require drilling the bed either.

The Colorado bar is very, very similar to the GoRhino piece. There's also a Vanguard bar, but I'm not certain how that mounts, and I don't really care for the excess hoops on it.

    Updates, sort of.

I bought the Black Horse bar. Yes, it's polished stainless. No, it's not staying polished stainless. The Toyota specific bar in black has been discontinued, and I didn't want to risk getting the universal fit and have it not work. I bought two sets of KC Pro Sport HID 6" lamps for it. I did a pair of long range and a pair of driving ones, so they'll be a nice setup.

OEM FJ wheels. I had originally tried to source a set used but decided to bite the bullet and buy a new set. In an interesting turn of events the FJ Cruiser center caps are actually also the same caps Toyota used on the 3rd generation 4Runner as well as the T100. Because of that, I was able to find a set of caps for sale for half the price of the FJ Cruiser listed ones. Whether or not they are actually OEM Toyota parts, I don't know, but they look perfect.

My plan is to paint them the same silver used on the SR5 steel wheels. I'll go 265/70-17 for snow tires this time around. I may have some fun and go full retro with a set of chrome trim rings to give it a somewhat unique look, but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Regardless, it will be fun to change things up again.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

I haven't driven it in two weeks now. I need to sort out why one of my light bar spot lights doesn't work and figure out how to update the light mounting for stability, and then refit the bar after pulling my tonneau cover, but I'm not in a huge rush to do anything there. I'm saving up for the 2020 lamps and will grab them once I've got the cash.

Hey man I just got my roll bar put on recently. Can I ask how you routed your wires for the spotlights and that third brake light?

Not the prettiest execution but it works. I left the excess wire as in the winter I take the bar off and run my tonneau. I have a set of weather tight connectors that I unhook.

My 3rd brake light connects to my tail light via a hole I drilled inside the pocket. I have a connector inside the pocket so I can remove it in the winter.

If there are more specific details, please let me know.

Updated the main photo and the mod list. Outside of a subwoofer changeout, I think I'm done with this truck.

Your 2016 Broja is what inspired me to try something similar.

I might swap out the wheels for the color you have though. I like a little more contrast.
