Mild to Medium trails around Boone, NC

I will be in Boone, NC for thanksgiving and was looking to do some exploring the Friday after. I am a little concerned about wheelin' solo this far from home so I was looking for something pretty mild. I've got a good set of mud tires, but am sitting at a stock height with open diffs. Does anyone have suggestions for a trail in the area? I've seen some posts on Richland Gap, but I think that might be a little tough for this trip. I am curious what people who have run it think about it's difficulty. I would appreciate any suggestions you could offer! Thanks in advance!

im from ashe co. right beside boone, the richlands trails arnt bad you should make it through no prob man.
