I know gas mileage has been done to death but I was wondering what everyone is getting as far as mileage per tank. I am only getting about 300 miles per fill up which works out to about 14 mpg. That is pathetic. I'll be doing some experiments as far as how heavy my foot is but I don't get why my mileage sucks so much. Feel free to post previous threads too.

I don't know about the others but my guage reads empty at 17 Gallons... I have a 20 gallon tank so milage per tank would be difficult.

Millage per tank doesn't matter... that's only as accurate as your perception of "per tank." Go off millage and the amount of fuel you used...

This question is sort of related, "How many here are forced to use gas with 10% ethenaol", that is all there is available here in Central NY - I'm only on my 3rd tank of gas, MPG for the 2nd tank was 17mpg - have 400+ miles on the Tacoma -

I just use how much I put in to guage my tank. A tank is about 17 gallons at about 300mi.

I have a 2008 V6 PreRunner TSS. I can usually go about 400 miles before I need to fill up again. On average, I can put about 20 gallons per fill up.

That's seems weird there's such a big difference. Is it mostly how you guys drive, engine have to be broken in? My truck is bone stock with only 600 miles on it.

I get between 250 and 300 usually...not really where I'd like it to be. I put in fuel injector cleaner and changed the air filter 2 weeks ago, not sure if it's helping or not. Hopefully getting a new exhaust for christmas, that may help a little bit too.

Ok officially it has a 21 gallon tank. With about 1/8th of a tank left I was at 297 miles. Assuming that I would get the same mileage for last few gallons I estimated another 30 miles or so. That would be 330 roughly. That still comes out to only 15-16 mpg. That is pretty depressing considering my 5.3 V8 Sierra got a combined of 16.8. This is starting to aggravate me, I was hoping to increase mileage not lose it.

Just to make sure, for those who are getting 350+ are you using normal 87 octane fuel and auto or manual tranny?
