2 when I got to the dealer, and 12 after my test drive. The dealer should put a few on it during the PDI. I have seen as high as 150 miles on cars that were DX (dealer exchanged)

When I picked up my truck after waiting 10 weeks for it to arrive, I started out with .6 on the odo. Drove the 160 miles back home, and noticed the odo reading high. Called the dealer back...they setup an appointment with a local dealer near me that corrected it.

Less miles the better. You ever seen how a salesman treats a new vehicle?

Don't remember and don't care. They kind of have to have been driven they don't pick them up and carry them.

I know how they get testers to drive them. Test drove a Nissan Juke Nismo back in 2013 and it had around 150 miles on it. The salesman took us through a small back road and then he told me to "floor it" and take it through those turns. When we got back to the dealer we told the salesman we'll take it and he was thrilled by it until my wife told him she'll take the one sitting in the showroom with 6 miles on it or she'll walk out of that room right there. Told him why would she want a vehicle where they "floored it" through the mountains enough to rack up 150 miles. So yeah, there are those that care.

I am not worried it was just curiosity because according to DragonPro my truck was built in 11/16 and finally made it to dealer on 2/17 with 10 miles. When I got my previous car it came off the truck with 3 miles and then I picked it up and it had only five miles. It just seems odd it took the truck almost 4 months to make it from factory to dealership. It is weird to see the variation some had as low as 2 and some many more. It just my normal curiosity and would think there would be a more standard amount that they had within 2-3 miles but doesn’t appear to be very standard. Thanks everyone for all the responses.

Is OP really sweating 10 miles on the odometer? Man, it's going to be a long tough ownership for you brother.

12, because of paperwork trickery. One of the ways for the dealer here to get more vehicles than what they are allocated is to order a bunch as a rental fleet, drive them a couple miles, then turn around and make them certified used.

What they did for mine, didn’t particularly care for my brand new truck being labeled as certified used right off the bat, did however get a new truck quicker than most. 5 weeks instead of months.
