    Generally 600.
Kilometres - I live up north. Canadian.

Agreed that there are many factors in determining the end result: speed you drive, weather, mods, road conditions, weight in vehicle.

We are paying close to $5 per gallon of gas - be thankful you are not.

91 octane. 384 per the refill notice after fill-up. averaged 21.5 mpg with 4.88's, stock tires, AT and no additional weight. Added a small mod - Magnuson SC - now average 20.5 mpg on same set-up. Yah I drive like a grandpa but now I have power when I need it. Did a highway trip of a few hundred miles and averaged 22+ mpg. AFR = less air equals less fuel to achieve the same ratio - so living above 5280 ft has that advantage but then again it has a negative of significantly less power. Win some, lose some.

I usually get about 320 to a tank. I made a trip from NY to Delaware and I got about 360+ out of the tank. That was right after the OV tune for 87. I usually drive a combination of highway and local trips average about 18.5. I have 2.5 lift on 265 70 17 with rocksliders.

450 usually. Will fill up around 400 with 2-3 gallons left in the tank. Truck is stock, with a contractor shell on it. Drive in CO with 85 octane gas.

Hills of Ohio and PA, consistently over 400 a tank with the tune.

When I lived in SC I was well into the 400s due to terrain difference

Definitely second this. When I lived in PA, I noticed all the highways were 55-65 and rolling hills... great for mpgs. Got 450-500 miles/tank sometimes and consistently 24-25 mpg on longer drives

Get OVTune, every 3rd gen needs it whether the owner knows it or not. Lol. Check out the KDMax 6.0 thread, the guys with automatic trucks say it’s better than OVtunes default 2.0 file.

... and if you don’t want to multiply your mileage by 1.07 get the hypertech speedometer recalibration tool.

I did pretty good last tank. Mostly ~17 mile round trip commutes to work and a trip to the boat on country roads, ~100 miles r/t.

The last 5 Fill-ups it’s between 330-360 DTE. I’ve only had my Taco for about 3 weeks so I’m still breaking her in. Running a 265/70/R16 Duratrac’s.

Well, first off the octane rating makes zero difference for MPG so you could save more by using 87. Isooctane (trimethylpentane) is necessary to prevent engine knock; which is a byproduct of preignition from high compression & temperatures. Technically (chemically) speaking, fuels containing higher octane contain less energy than those with less, however, this is such a minuscule amount that it would be unmeasurable in your Tacoma. In reality, whatever octane you put in will make zero difference with the Tacoma, only your wallet. To prove my point... ethanol has an octane rating of 105 due to the fact that it has an enthalpy of vaporization four times greater than gasoline (i.e., it lowers the temperatures to prevent knock). However, the energy density of ethanol is 30 MJ/kg while gasoline has an energy density of 46.4 MJ/kg. So if you run straight ethanol, you will lose around 35% fuel efficiency (which is also why many E85 conversions require larger injectors). In short, octane makes no difference in MPG, it does not measure energy density.

Secondly, I get around 340 miles per tank when I'm traveling but only around 240 when I'm not. The MPG calculates when the truck is idling (which I do a lot), so this affects your distance to empty calculation.

I've had my '21 for a month now and when I drove it off the lot it read 410 to the zero. After two fill ups I'm hovering in the 370-380 range. I live in So Cal, the hilly part with traffic in both directions

    It's a secret
I drive using the setting TacomaSupra...my tanks get me 280 on average.

If on the rare occasions I switch settings to TacomaCorolla, I can squeeze out around 325. But there's no fun in that.
