My life was pretty boring until I discovered the miles until empty reading and the fuel light thingy. When that fuel light goes on it starts me on a journey of thrill and intrigue that I never experienced before. The further you go the higher and higher the excitement builds. You know you should pull over and get gas, but you're feeding on the ever-increasing adrenalin rush. Living on the edge of like that makes you feel alive. Then you feel the shudders and hear the sputters and you know you took it too far. You feel dirty for being weak and giving into your addiction for a cheap thrill that now is going to cost you dearly. You grab your can from the back of your truck and begin the walk of shame towards the nearest station hoping no one you know recognizes you. It's not so much the walk you dread, it's that hollow feeling you have in the pit of your stomach knowing you have a problem you need to face but are too weak to face it.

    Totally worth it though.
