    My grandfather passed a few years back and is burried at the Veterans Memorial Cemetary, it is beautiful there.

    It is an amazingly moving ceremony thanking the veteran and their family for the sacrifices they made in service to our country. The only benefit or honor I have any interest in receiving for my years in service is to be placed with my brothers in arms when I pass.

    My sincerest condolences to you and your family MM. I served on a Honor Guard once during my service time for a feloow Sailor killed in Vietnam. It was one of the proudest but yet saddest things I have ever done. My thoughts go out to you.

    My legs were shaking and I was bundled up pretty good. I felt soooo sorry for the Honor Guard. I think it was 40* at 10:30 when the service started. But that wind made it feel much colder. Did I ever mention that I hate the cold?
