This is true. But without Munitions, these aircraft and your turbines are harmless. They would just fly around and look nice!!:D

Ha, after listening to not one but two or more running at top speed, a beefed up v8 with aftermarket exhaust sounds wimpy.:D

This F-15 is a triple MiG killer!
This is a row of F-15As that are awaiting their fate at AMARC in Davis-Monthan AFB. You can see F-15s from Louisiana, Oregon, Hawaii and the last jet is from Florida.

i think they were planning on putting 22's at the ANG base outside of columbia, sc and then putting 35's at shaw when they fully come out

I thought the latest and greatest idea for the guard was for the Guard unit to fly the same as the Active base does. I mean like Langley flying 22s and Richmand flying them also. Here in Florida, it really wouldn't matter. Eglin with 35s and Tyndall with 22's. We could fly either. Who knows, it'll all change a couple of times before it all happens. All I know is I like being an Air to Air wing. Keep the bombs for somebody else!!!;)

We all know the boats and ships are better.
More important. our enemies know this.
A WW11 Destroyer would do 35 Knots at flank speed, no sweat.

Lakenheath and Upper Heyford F-111s would come to Turkey back in the 80's for Weapons Training. They we're quite loud!

You know about the Bitch List, Fix It Sheet, etc.

What is the difference between a pilot and a jet engine?
The plane quits whining when the engines spool down.

I forgot Brian still has those shots up on his site. Here are the other ones that go with the last one. Hard to believe that has been 6 years ago now.
