To be fair many used vehicles have things like this done to them. I've encountered loads with past vehicles and find it fulfilling to set them straight.

Hey you found some metal under all that rust and dirt! Nice new frame! I bet this will come out great. Awesome work so far!

Finished shampooing the rest of the interior parts with fabric in the truck.
Worked at cleaning up bolts and parts on frame on the back of the truck.
Sized up the bottom of the bed as to what needs to be cut and patched.
Removed the surface rust from the drivers floor and applied several coats of primer.
I've attachted some before and after pics of the floor.
That part of the floor in the truck was in the worst condition, so the rest should clean up pretty quickly. Looking forward to putting the interior back together.

After getting the majority of mud and dirt off of the rear end of the frame I sprayed lithium grease on the fuel filler neck, nuts and bolts and welds on the frame.

The rest of the drivers side floor removed of rust and primed with self etching primer.
Just have the passengers side to do and I can put the interior back in!

BTW I should really apologize for my fatness in all the pictures. I should do something about that, but first, fix the Tacoma!

The rusted bolts that didn't get their heads chewed up in the removal:
    - Get cleaned in the parts washer
    - Then the heads are clamped in the vice and clean the threads up with a wire brush
    - I use a die to clean the threads of any crap thaf can be removed or shaped back into usable threads.
    - I go iver the threads again with a wire brush
    - If the heads are rusted I clamp a matching nut in the vice and thread the bold into it
    - I go over the head with the wire brush
    - If needed I'll take a file and carefully try to get flat edges on the head to prevent it from getting stripped if it needs to come out again
    - I give the head a going over with the wire brush
    - Then the bolts go back in the parts washer
    - I spray them down with brake cleaner
    - Blow them off with the air nosel
    - Apply copper (Because thats what I have) anti-seize to the treads
    - And reinstall the bolts where they belong

Doing that for every bolt that needs attention takes forever but it is fulfilling.
I would love to just get a list of every bolt I need and spend a couple hunred $$ buying new ones from Toyota but I can't justify that.
