The bracket that bolted under the rear seat that holds the rear cup holders had some rust on it so I hit it with the wire cup and covered it with the same self etching primer I used on the floor of the truck.

All parts of the seat belt assemblies are bolted in.
I don't think I mentioned this yet but last week, 95% of the plastic interior pieces were taken home and I threw them in the tub for a good cleaning. Today the majority of those parts went back in the truck.
Once I clean the rubber seals for the doors and put them back in I can install the plastic trim peices that go between the door sil and the floor carpet.

The rear seat is bolted down, the passenger seat is put back together and bolted in.
    Glove box is back in.
The plastic trim for the shifters is back in.
I'm assembling the center console then it will go back in.

This is fantastic. I love frame off work. I have a fetish for attention to detail. If i had your amount of garage space, i would do the same to mine even though its a CA truck and has no rust anywhere.

    Thanks for you reply.
We may be getting a new vehicle this week, if that happens I will be removing bumpers and anything else to protect areas you can't easily get to. I'll also take apart the brakes and other parts just to antizeize bolts. I'll hit all key areas with silicone grease and other products so we can have reliable removals with no issues in the future.
I understand the need to make things better but I have to really try to be reasonable with this particular project. I know I'll get back any time or materials I invest in this truck.

Reassembled the centre console today. I realized after the fact that I couldn't put it back together without removing the rust from the bottom bracket and priming it. That console is made up of many pieces and is a pia to dismantle and reassemble.
I masked off the rest of the console and removed the rust and put a couple coats of primer on it while it was still assembled.
I'll get a picture of it tomorrow as it's still setup up in the shop from drying.
After that I'll throw the console in and then the drivers seat!

Majority of the interior is back in.
Once I solve my heater issue the shroud around the radio and heater control will go back in.

Grill that came with the truck is on the ground, It was a poorly executed attempt at a kool grill. Then to add insult to injury the previous owner plasti-dipped the whole thing...the WHOLE thing. He did the same with the rims that came on the truck, he sprayed the entire thing on the truck with no masking anything off.

Servicing the front brakes, normally I would replace them but I need to get the truck on the road asap.
I sold traded my current work vehicle and my wife's vehicle in on another vehicle. Thats three vehicles in once sentence.
The Tacoma will be my dd/work vehicle.
A picture of the drivers side brakes after my tlc and the passengers side brakes before.

Looks great! If you ever do decide to replace them I recommend doing the Tundra brake upgrade also.

The reason I am pushing to finish my Tacoma, this is the only vehicle we have atm and are sharing it.
Makes me kinda sick that I am using it for a work vehicle.
