    Received a couple deliveries today.
Thank you Ebay and Canada Post!

I also received a call from the Toyota Dealership informing me my gas tank strap has arrived!

I had to mount a rim on the truck just to try the new hardware. Worked perfectly

All the door panels needed to be thoroughly cleaned inside before reinstalling them.
    They were all pretty gross.

Got the Cruise Control module and the Igniter installed back in the engine bay.
Of course, all bolts were reconditioned and antiseized before using them.

Reinstalled the front bumper temporarily to see what the front end looks like.
I have not done anything to the front bumper.
I will address the bumpers at a later date.

Time to focus on cutting, fitting, welding and finishing seriously rusted areas.

The factory peice behind the fuel filler door is responsible for providing a mounting place for the door and for the plastic filler peice that goes around the fuel filler neck.
In my case it was in pretty crappy condition.
All 4 bolts were broken off in the mounting points for the plastic filler peice.
I marked spot welds and then drilled them out.
I will be cleaning up the rust and installing some aluminum riv-nuts to provide new places to fasten the fuel door and filler peice to.

Two of the four mounting points on the bed need to be repaired which is why I have cut out the bed in a couple areas to be able to weld new plates and nuts.
The nuts you see pictured are what will be used.
The plate is what the nuts will be welded to and then the plate will be welded inside the channel.
The last picture is showing the difference in thickness of the channel and the plate.

A few pictures of the process of replacing the gas tank strap.
    There is only one btw
One bolt holds up the front of the gas tank the strap secures the rear.
4 bolts hold the protective metal cage in place around the gas tank.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
