    800 miles x 52 weeks = 41600 miles
    41600 miles x 20 years = 832000

I drove over the road for 15 years, averaged 80000 miles a year, barely made 1.2 million miles by time I hung up my CDL.

    Everybody's an internet detective.

You get 800 miles a week if you just drive from Evansville to Princeston every day of the week without stopping anywhere else or going out of your way. Any day you hit both Princeston and Owensboro on your route, you're clocking 200+

Also, for those who were wondering but didn't bother following the link, it's a 4cyl 5speed.

Both 3.0L and 3.4L T100s were offered with 5 speeds and RWD. She has the 2.7L though.

The article says Toyota didn't make a cargo van? Yes they did, my Dad even owned one.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Lots of cars have probably made it past a million miles, just few are documented. In order to have this done, the dealership has to have every service record performed on the vehicle so they know for sure it is legit. Some guy can't just walk in and say "hey, my Toyota just rolled over a million miles" and expect to get recognized for it if he doesn't have each and every service record for it.

I'm curious to know if Toyota gave her a new truck in exchange for her old one? That truck is clean, but doesn't surprise me one bit, maintenance and regular car washes will keep a vehicle looking new for many years.
