So my suspension was way to stiff... last week i had the idea of using my old 1st gen leafs and run air bags should fix my problem. and which it did started the project on monday finished on saturday completely, besides shocks.

first i started with the leafs i found new bushings ordered them only $45 for 4 of them, and bolts and hangers




Old springs to my "new" ones


I had to make front hangers cause couldn't find any wide enough wasn't hard. 0.45 er80 220A over head.


This is when i just got the leafs on with no air bags, 2.25" from tire all the way down and 7.35 lifted up.




Air bags installed with lines ran


Now air bags all the way aired down.




Aired all the way up




Ran the lines out the tool box



Overall i am more them happy with the come out tracks well on road doesn't bounce, it eats out all the bumps now, going to throw shocks on when i feel like going getting some.. can't wait for the next camp trip.

Yeah no AC and 6 dogs have been a real fucking nightmare. All over tomorrow. Got the mother of all AC units being installed at the ass crack of dawn.

 

Then you will be blowin cold air! I feel the pain I'm at work welding my jacket is like 20 pounds of sweat haha

I can't go cause of school, gotta take these classes but will be worth it cause I'll be on the other trips, BUT Snowtank is taking my trailer for the trip with his rig.. Gone be sexy.. Because even though I won't be on the trip a piece of me will hahaha

I looked into those! But my flip out deck is to big an takes up room for them switches:/ I have a decent idea for an over head switch box
