As long as there is no woody material you should be fine. My Ryobi will not cut a 3/8” twig. It does fine up to about 5/16” of green branches but but when they get woody it’s a little much.

It's a combination of small woody stemmed shrubs (1/2" max), flowering plants, wild grasses, etc. They want it all cut back for winter.

Obviously cost but anything else? I use a jigsaw like 4 times a year and cordless would make that easier.

M12 non-fuel vs M18 FUEL or FUEL Barrel jigsaw
    Pros and cons please.

Also you M12 users there's some nice new 2.5Ah and 5.0Ah High-Output batteries

That 5.0 would be real nice for my work impact driver....might just expense it and say it was a necessity :anonymous:

They look to have a bit more rubberized covering too. Win-win.

Love my m18 fuel, hated the feel of the barrel grip, felt like I couldn’t reach the control comfortably. returned it the same day it arrived at my door. But that could just be my preference. I’m sure the m12 would be just fine too, but I’ve never used one.
