i won a gift card at an charity auction, so gifted myself some knockoff milwaukee items that interest me far more than the genuine products.

a fan that should be a little smaller than the official m18 fan (i've got one, but tired of knocking it off ladders--it doesn't sit great on them)
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C85FLBQF?ie=UTF8

and got a bluetooth speaker that i'm hoping is decent, but expecting to be mostly crap, but a good base for something better
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C3R37BFH?ie=UTF8

and replaced my 2 heated jacket adapters, as apparently, connecting a 2A bluetooth amp module to the 12v output burns them out.. again, killed my genuine's, but getting the knockoff's for a fraction of the price.

HD often has a "buy this" and "free selection of your choice"

As long as the purchased item and free items are in separate boxes IE separate SKU, you can return one for partial refund netting the purchased item for significantly less than regular price

Been going on for years and tons of us do it; I've never bought a Milwaukee tool that wasn't at least half off regular price

@Panchovilla6192002 this^^^ I usually select pickup at 2 separate locations and cancel the 2nd item after I pickup the 1st item. In this case for the expansion tool it would save me $158.

Yeah they stopped letting you set it to ship one to your house and pick the other up, my most recent orders I had to set them to be picked up at different stores and so far havent had any issues.

lol, there's a whole crazy category of stuff like that!

what started me looking was i found some of the adapters and parts at an amish store in shipshewanna near E&S sales if you're in indiana.. apparently, solar power to charge batteries isn't electricity, so they have an entire area of lights, fans, and buggy gear that runs off 18v dewalt and milwaukee batteries. there's even adapters to go from dewalt to milwaukee and milwaukee to dewalt!

    there's lights

i just found the 18v-to-12v adapter now, as well as the bug zapper, of course, both are getting ordered!

i've also seen some off-brand heavy duty 1/2" impacts for the platform as well...

Damn I did not realize there was such a extensive market of m18 knock off tools, the only stuff I had looked into and bought was a m18 power adapter to up the voltage on a friend's big wheel, I will have to look into some of those m18 lights, can't justify actual milwaukee pricess for something I (almost) never need.

that was just the core differences of some of the offerings. there's tons more variations to all of it if you're looking for something more unique!

"milwaukee 18v [tool type]" seems to be the easiest way to search for products in any category. finding new tools is entirely hit or miss, i generally locate the a known off-brand fan or light, then go to the shops storefront if they have one, and then search for 'milwaukee'..

it's a fun treasure hunt that's sometimes rewarded with things like a a cordless pressure washer

or a different version of the mini chainsaw

I've seen the lights, fans, inverters, and all that before but never the pressure washer.

    Might have to try that...

Instead of posting all these wonderful Milwaukee knock offs in this thread, maybe a new thread should be started and titled ‘ Scum sucking bottom feeding pirated chinesium piece of shit CHICOM garbage imitating legitimate tools’ .

Lets not forget how it seems like half the site here orgasms when harbor freight knocks off a good old American brand tool such as many snap on/mac tools or that swag band saw table stand thing or the eagle off road jack.

That’s fine. I don’t like it, but I understand and I have zero problems with it. I just wondered why it was taking over a thread I thought was about Milwaukee tools. Sort of like a thread called ‘Tacoma 3rd Gen diffs’ and all of a sudden I’m reading about Dana 60s and 44s.

Please show me where it says 'Made in China' on this info plate:

And besides, I was referring to the pirated f-ing junk being sold, not licensed products sold by legit companies.
