I’ve never worked retail in my life so I’m not expert, but from what I hear, certain internet codes (or SKUs) need to be closed out/liquidated.

Right next to this kit was the “tool only” for like over $200, so I don’t think that finish nailer is going anywhere. They do this a lot around the hollidays. It was probably left over inventory from the gift center if you’re familiar with how Home Depot stocks things.

I'm checking my local stores first thing in the morning. I could run different length nails in each.

Employee was able to look it up in their system and there was only one store about an hour away that showed 1 in stock. I was tempted to go look but decided not to.

There’s an app/website called brick seek.

Look it up on there, with your zip code. It will give you areas around you too.
    It’s internet code 325161873

I have an M18 XC5.0 Sawzall. It's awesome. With the right blade and enough of them, it will cut through anything: metal, wood, concrete: whatever. I cut through an old pressure-treated swing-set with it on one battery charge: Wood, plastic seats and slide, bolts, metal angle braces and stuck chains. Even a couple of small trees that grew around it over the years that were in the way. It was a monster with a small "treehouse" on one side, 4x8's across the top and none of it was rotten. :proposetoast:

Tim Robbins/Andy Dufresne could have sawed his way out of Shawshank with this thing.

Loaded it all in the bed of my truck and it's the only time I have ever seen it sag (a little) in the back.

I always had a hard time remembering which way was the right way. Someone suggested holding the gun "gangsta" style. That's what worked for me to remember.

Messed up my shoulder a bit again, cant pull start my echo trimmer, I am thinking of buying the M18 quik-lok trimmer so I can keep cutting grass as a side job. Has anyone had any issues with them? How does the trimmer do using it as a edger? How long does the M18 6ah and 8ah battery last? Is the easy load head worth getting? I only have 7 houses I cut, probably about 1 or 1.5 hours of trimming a week.
Going to PT starting next week so hopefully I will be good to pull start the echo in a month or two.

Edit - If you dislocate your shoulder once it will happen again, get the surgery done tighter then normal before it comes out a second time and causes more damage.

I haven't had any problems with mine in over 3 years. I also run it with an extension, pole saw and brush trimmer. Batteries get a little warm if I run it continuously.

I have the trimmer with the 8AH battery. I have a 3/4 acre lot. I can do my entire yard (around house, stone wall the length of the property, trees, etc.) 4 times on one charge. It edges fine (I don't have the edger attachment...I just flip it on it's side), but you have to freehand it. Takes a little practice. Total run time each time us 30-45 minutes. So 2-3 hours total. It's not running continuously though.

I use the edger, trimmer, and pole saw attachment with my Quik-Lok set up and the XC8.0 battery x2. The edger eats up the battery a lot faster than the trimmer or pole saw. Still can do a long driveway and shorter sidewalk with the edger and a single charge. Seems like the trimmer will go forever on a single charge. Most of my trimming is light duty. I've got a gas trimmer (Echo) for the heavy stuff.

Thanks yall, I'm paying a actual yardwork company to do the houses I take care of tomorrow, if I can't start the echo in two weekends I will pick up the M18 quiklok. For edging I learned how to just flip the trimmer over and use that, took a bit to get good at it but its way faster then swapping attachments. I already use the m18 fuel blower so I'm use to carrying batteries and charging them as I go.

I bought the Milwaukee Trimmer with Quick-Loc head and the Brush Cutter attachment when we moved to the country over the summer. I still haven't used the trimmer attachment, but have used the brush cutter A LOT. The power head has plenty of power, and cuts for quite a while. I have one 8ah battery and several 5ah. They all cut for a long time. The blade that came with the brush cutter is best for grassy-type brush and light woody stuff. I also use a blade like pictured below. I can easily cut through woody stuff 2 to 3 inches diameter using it on the brush cutter. But the chainsaw type blade doesn't do so well on grassy stuff.

Forgot to mention I'm also running low speed. Still plenty of power to handle everything.
