Picked mine up today. Irritating that I had to go to the store as shipping wasn't available.

Nice! Excited to put mine to use. Had to grab a scoop shovel from the store for a weekend project coming up to use as an excuse for the wife to run out during my lunch break.

To pile on, this is my second favorite tool. I paid $192 for the installation tool kit bag charger (2)2.0ah batteries delivered with the 3/8” ratchet.

What are you guys using that installation tool for that you love it so much?

I feel like the only thing I would use is the right-angle drill attachment, and would be better off just buying the actual right-angle drill. :notsure:

M12 surge. It’s got tons of power and very quiet. I guess really it’s a tie for first but I usually leave my top off the list so I can swap out my favorite on a whim.
Any interior hardware it’s great. It’s a drill and a driver, it’s small and fits into lots of places. It has a magnet that holds bits or hardware. It has a chuck or a hex 1/4 one hand bit holder.

It fastens slow or fast very well and lets off as you would want kind of like brakes without momentum carrying over and stripping whatever you’re working on.

The tool is built to be small and even with the 90 degree adaptor it still fits in tight placed easily. Hell the drill alone it shorter then most of my other drills. The offset adaptor is great especially for when your shoving your arm into the back of a cabinet. I own one of those 90 dehree drill adaptors and it's got nothing compared to this tool.

Enjoy! I love my Milwaukee tools, I use them every day at work. My 12 volt 1/4 inch hex Fuel impact driver gets used at every job multiple times per day. i don't know how I'd function without it honestly. :rofl:The only other brands I swear by is Knipex for adjustable pliers and Wera for important screwdrivers.

i don't like how hot it gets! i've been through about 4-6 variations of those. the only one i haven't tried is the milwaukee 90, and that's mostly because it was extremely late to the market. current have a drill master 90, and that dewalt 90. the dewalt 90 is the only one officially rated for impact usage. i've blown up a number of them due to that...

any 90 degree tool that locks onto the drill is really going to be better to allow one-handed operation-- my biggest issue with the dewalt is that it's hard to hold on to in more extreme situations. though it has held up much better.

I don't really drill with it, I need it for hard to reach fasteners such as screws and small bolts and nuts. I can understand your point, you really need two hands two use the Dewalt 90 impact tool. I just haven't found a job yet that would require me to consider buying the Milwaukee installation tool.
