095 is best for battery trimmers. Go bigger and your trimmer will struggle with it. Saw somewhere about soaking it in water before use??

 

Hmm that is interesting. 1kmsl to 6kmsl gives a pressure drop of 19% neglecting temp/weather. If your tires were a thin unsupported membrane like a balloon, 5 psi change would correspond to a starting pressure of 25 PSI. Do you have a guess at initial pressure, from that we can see how much of the outward tire pressure is supported by the atmosphere vs. the cords and internal structure. That's a lot more elastic than I would have expected given steel belts etc.

It's a great little saw. I use mine primarily for cutting 3/4" stock and occasional 2x material. It's great for using at odd locations like up on ladders, scaffolding, etc. Also good for ripping smaller/thinner sheet goods. For decks & framing the M18 6 1/2" or 7 1/4" is a better choice.

I saw the deal for the saw and 5.0 HOXC’s and pulled the trigger. Combine that with the dozen other 2.5, 4.0 and 6.0 batteries I have, I felt it was a good alternative to the corded dewalt saw I’ve had for years.

I’m just excited to not drag out a drop cord for smaller jobs I’m usually doing.

Damn, the saw and batteries are one item so you cant do the hack of returning the batteries.

 

There is a 2 pack of 5.0 batteries with a free tool. Return the free tool and get the 2 batteries for $99.50. A better deal than the 3 batteries for $199 posted above.

Bought this today. Bought part of it with cash and the rest on card. Cashier lady screwed up and counted the cash wrong. Had to go back and get it all sorted out

 

Nice! I just used mine to get some of my rusty bed bolts out. Took them out with ease.

Great little tool. I just used mine to install some Total Chaos bed stiffeners and looking forward to a brake and suspension job later this month. Did you get a HO battery to go with it?
