I spend almost every Saturday morning there if not the whole day like today. Mowing, topping off her car, doing maintenance around the house and more.

Very smart usage for the basic non fuel tools and they take up so little space grandma won't mind. Always annoys me having to pack a tool bag to fix stuff at my parents place when I take a trip to visit them who have only very basic hand tools

Just received my M12 Fuel Surge Impact driver back from Milwaukee for the 3rd time. Each time something different was replaced. Seems to be working properly now. In the online service request that I created, I requested a new replacement instead of another repair. I just called and asked why that request wasn't honored. After explaining the history, a new one is also being sent to me.

Good night for tool glitches on the Home Depot. I missed some of the ridiculous ones, and had not need for some others. Ended up getting this.

But there was also stuff like this

    They usually do.
The guys who usually get their orders
cancelled are the ones that’s make 100 orders for reselling. They are also why some of the better deals sell out so quick.

It’s a freak thing. About once a year, at any given time, Home Depot and or Lowe’s just messes up stuff on their .com sales. It’s a glitch.

A year or 2 ago, I got lucky and got a Dewalt 7 tool XR kit $799 value for $99.

This year, was the Milwaukee tools.

The problem is there’s a bunch of resellers that buy thousand of dollars worth of these mistakes. They mess up the glitch for everyone, and guys who just want to capitalize on a few things either get their order cancelled or can’t get the thing because it’s out of stock in a matter of minutes. Just how it goes.

If you’re interested in having a good chance on this, you’ll need a Facebook, and go on the group called “deal team 6.”

Their service there is saluted for sure.

If anyone's looking for a compressor to take wheeling, the M18 inflator is bundled with a 2-pack of 5Ah batteries for $199 right now. Mine's been serving me well for year and a half.

    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...Portable-Inflator-Tool-Only-2848-20/320022879

Works out to a $94 inflator if you don't need the batteries.

Haha holy... you scored big time. Had no idea this was a thing that happens.

that sent me down a rabbit hole...

also, this grinder by itself isn't a great deal at $250, but the free m18 8.0 forge battery is worth something...
    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...ith-Paddle-Switch-Tool-Only-3670-20/330107045

and the m18 heat gun is on sale for $99 as well
    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...-Compact-Heat-Gun-Tool-Only-2688-20/302456583

specifically, i've been using my Amazon-sourced $35 one, and i've been using it a decent amount--more than expected really. main issue with that is one use is an entire m18 6.0 battery every time. my batteries might be getting a little old, but i'm curious how better-managed the official version is.

I will say, I’ve never known anyone that was happy with the Milwaukee heat gun. Just an FYI.
I’m not a brand loyalist. So, I don’t mind calling it out, but I get not wanting to go with another battery system.

It’s issue is it doesn’t get very hot…even heat shrinking is slow.

A corded one or the Dewalt cordless is good.
I got the Dewalt because I needed to seal some roll roof during winter once. That said, the dewalt does heat shrink on 00 wire no problem.
