Got the 2967-20 a while back for $195, but that seems like an awesome deal with two batteries

No dice. They have the tool, but can’t sell me the combo because they’re out of the batteries that go with it…

Thanks for checking. I went to 2 HD's. Both had the impact wrench for 249, but I didn't see the charger or the batteries either. I might try a couple more stores tomorrow.

    4 run, 2 don't
Considered it for the batteries alone, but I've got the same impact wrench so no sense buying another

Y'all having trouble finding it? My local HD had two left I think

lolz. but for real, i’m too old to fight my ego to manually crank a 450’ drop and 20oz weight with 2 hooks with big ass fish on ‘em.

i do the jigging and set the hook manually, and some reeling for the fun of it. You can actually set it up to electronically jig different in different patterns/programs.

yeah, I know it’s been done. You can buy an adapter

    But…

I was going to ask if anyone has ever made their own.

I generally just buy the plates from anywhere I can find them. Far cheaper than fabbing my own most times

Well that’s kind of my point. By “make” I mean like these ones at Home Depot, and cutting them out to the x3 trunk space. I think rectangles would need to be mitered at least, because the “trunk” space of a X3 is like a retarded kidney shape.

Been a couple of weeks of rain.
2 full M18 12 batteries only did this til it was 1 of 4 lights.
One day in the future a new technology of batteries will last longer.

We were looking for that one with no luck, so my son got me this one for Father's Day: 2967-20. It's a beast. It has multiple modes with an automatic mode that reduces torque when the bolt is loose or RPM when tightening.
The battery attachment has this anti-vibration fitting that has some give, so the vibrations don't damage the electronics. At first, I thought it was a manufacturing defect and had to Google it. This makes me concerned about the durability, but I save my receipts, so we'll see. For what it's worth I did buy a rubber protective boot from Amazon that was about 1/3 the HD price.
Now I want to get some torque sticks. Thinking Harbor Freight for those so if anyone has opinions of them, I'd like to hear it.

Got tired of painting in shadows so I purchased the rocket light at the same time. The dual power source is awesome. I wish more cordless tools had this option.
The ease of folding or deploying is just icing on the cake.
The wife said, "that looks expensive". I was like umm.... "It wasn't too bad".

You can buy the Link-Q fasteners for about $40 and the base feet for around $30 from Amazon. I was looking making a fishing rod holder / milk crate for our Sea-Doo because the OEM one was so expensive, but we sold the jet ski.
