This is exactly why I’ve been thinking about adding it to my collection, I think my wife and my mom would like using it since loppers can be limiting and frustrating if you you don’t have much upper body strength.

So I have a nice 18v system for heavy work that I leave in the garage and is not accessible when both vehicles are in the garage. Been thinking about getting into a 12v system to leave in the house for lighter indoor work (hanging things, appliance repair, etc). Instead of getting the full drill/driver with ratcheting chuck, I was thinking of getting just a 2-speed screwdriver (smaller/lighter/quicker bit change). Do those work fine for drilling with the proper hex drill bits? Or would I be better off just dealing with a slightly larger drill/driver?

The hub nuts when swapping wheel bearings and way overtorqued by the tire shop lug nuts are the only things that have really made the M18 high torque work for it's money. But if you only want to buy one, why no go big?

I have an M12 Fuel Screwdriver. I use it for kitchen cabinet installations. It's a workhorse. Will be just fine for light indoor use.

I mainly use a fuel 1/4 impact driver and love not having to deal with air compressors cords and such. Though I’ve gone through two of their compact blowers in three years. Both have failed switches and one has worn bushings. So far the larger leaf blower works well, just my employees preferred the smaller compactness of the old blowers.

Packout First Aid Kit coming in June. I am definitely a candidate for a FAK upgrade. It’s a great concept. Could definitely save some $ and pick up a packout container and customize a FAK of your own. Or just let Milwaukee do it. I could have used it last weekend while I was practicing being reckless.....

I would be inclined to make up your own first aid kit so you know exactly what is in it, why it is there and know how to use what is there.

I’ll withhold judgment on the FAK until it rolls out. Sadly, most commercial kits are not much more than bandaids and alcohol wipes.

You don’t even start to get to usable kits until you get to first responder bags. And even these need serious augmentation.

Most first aid kits should be called not much better than nothing kits.

Does the hatchet have a low oil shutoff or notify you that the oil is low? Common question for these battery operated saws, 200 2” cuts of oak is what they claim per battery charge. If that’s the case how many times did they fill up the oil tank?

I'm not aware of it having a low oil shut off; seems unlikely. I treat it like any of my other saws, and check the oil before use and whenever I take a break. It's very judicious with its oil use, and the only chainsaw I've ever had that doesn't leak bar oil.
