Reading through the manual it just says check oil often. I like how most chainsaws have a good match of fuel to bar oil ratio so when the tank is empty you probably need bar oil as well.

Thank for the feedback. I don’t need another small saw right now but there might come a day... I’ll keep this in the back of my mind.

I have a sawzall with pruning blades but chainsaw blades are really good at cutting and cleaning out the cut as they go which makes cutting easier, pruning blades in my opinion don’t take the place of a chainsaw cut.

Look into the Diablo blades. They make all the difference IMO. Or maybe it’s just my cheap chainsaw

My local HD did a display change/shelf re-org (I can't recall the official retail name), but there's much more Milwaukee now.

We used to call them POG (Plan O Gram) resets at another big box store I worked at years ago. Not sure what HD calls them.

If you're on the M12 line I'd suggest the stubby over the compact.

M gang, I love my little M12 hex shank IMPACT driver BUT there are times when I don't want the IMPACT function. Is there such an animal, basically the same driver with a switchable impact function or without impact?

So that's a 2-speed non-impact screwdriver only. They don't make a driver that has switchable on/off impact. Just for clarification.

That said, $54 is awesome for a Fuel driver if you already have the 12v system

Yes exactly what I want. Variable speed in 2 ranges, NO impact. If I want impact I will use my other impact one. Some small screws and lighter work, impact just tears stuff up. I am a DeWalt guy, but the M12 line is the best.
