I found some nice Mini Cooper seats at a pick a part. Has anyone tried to install them in their Tacoma's? Their mounting is pretty flat so I think I can just make a plate to mount them to and then bend some flat bar to make the brackets.

I have not tried Mini Cooper, but I have Audi S5 seats in my Tacoma. if they are manual seats, then cutting off the feat of your stock, getting a bracket, or making one, as you said, will be all you need. If they are electric, then you just need to figure out the + and - of the seats, and all the functions should work (barring any memory settings). If they have heat, then you can hook up an aftermarket regulator (this is what I did) and connect that to the + and - of the seats, and bam, you're ready to rock.

I picked up some mini seats today. They look really nice sitting in the truck. I am going to have a issue with were the seat tracks bolt on the the seat bracket. He is my start to making a new bracket.

I got some seats this weekend. I love the look. My first attempt at making a bracket. IMG_20240721_122120.jpg 1000010242.jpg

Did you finish this seat project? I’m looking at a similar set. Are you happy with them?
