hahaha you are doing a good job, it has just as many pages as my build thread lol

on a side note I am doing some research into android boxes and how Kodi and all that fun stuff works. I have been out of the technology game for a little bit so I figured I would research this stuff before I start tinkering with it again. Reminds me of back when I use to jailbreak ipod touches so its pretty cool. I have narrowed it down to the NVIDIA Shield. It's one of the better ones on the market with a lot of good key features the cheaper units don't possess. its also made by NVIDIA which is a really good company that manufactures high quality graphic cards for computers.

Might as well have spoken in French. I have no idea what your talking about buddy. I am a caveman. Hammer & chisel. I am super detached with anything remotely related to this.

More capable? Kodi loads everything you need, the hardware just holds it. No need for an expensive suitcase. My firestick has everything possible on it including games.

I want something that has a high quality audio pass-through. I also want something that has H.265 hardware decoding and that's running the most current android OS, though most devices can be upgraded, but if I'm buying something new I shouldn't have to update it. Another thing I am looking for is dynamic refresh rate along with USB 3.0 ports and HDMI 2.0 ports. I want over the air firmware updates and dual band WiFi. I want to be able to plug in a wifi external hard drive like the LaCie Fuel so when I download a movie I can transfer it wirelessly to the hard drive and play it through the NVIDIA Shield.

I use to have a guy that would do this exact thing back in the day. His name was Paco. He would climb the utility poll an put a T from the neighbors house that had cable. 1 time fee and we would watch cable tv for free.

I would be intrested in the French translation to be truthful with you

You have my attention here. Do you do this or do you have your own “Paco” that does this for you?

Thats like building a garage just to change a tire. Firestick just plugs in HDMI TV port, 4k capable and surround sound. Plus it fits in your pocket and goes anywhere. I only stream since downloading is technically illegal and my ISP would flag it. I have 300/100 internet, so no buffering issues ever. The ugly part is to watch a new release its usually a phone recording or worse.
