I don't know if the tires on now are the original size or not but it's a 245/75r16 upgraded to a 285/75r16

:bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:All that's left are U bolts and rear shocks. Kit shipped from two separate warehouses so I got different shipments. Hopefully they will be here by Friday so I can get this done this weekend.:fingerscrossed: Thoughts on having coils assembled at a shop vs doing it myself?:welder:

There are multiple you tube video's on SAFE assembly of struts using weight of truck to compress springs. Good way to save $100 or so.... I had my struts assembled, but have since done 2 sets for other people, assembling on the truck. I would NOT use cheap threaded spring compressors rented via Auto Zone/Advanced Auto/etc....

Here is where I put my ram mount phone holder. Close enough to see well and not too far from charging and aux cables. I've tried the suction cups in the past on other vehicles mounted to the windshield and other locations and never really liked it so I chose this blank button spot and screwed it in permanently. one thing I haven't figured out on the interior design is the clock screen to the right of the ignition and bellow the hazard lights button... not sure what they were thinking but it's completely out of view while driving because of the steering wheel. I'm brainstorming other ideas to replace that with something more useful.

Unfortunately after calling ok4wd asking about tracking on the remaining parts they informed me the shocks are on back order until October. I'll still try to put wheels and stickers on tomorrow but I'm bummed. On the plus side my dad got me a surprise cb radio, we'll probably put that in too. I don't think there's an antenna so I'll have to shop around. Any suggestions?

Would that work well with a future ham radio as well? I'm still trying to educate myself in radio and antennas. It seems so far that the most carefully chosen part should be the antenna. Would you agree?

semi finished product of this weekend. New: wheels, custom bedside stickers, hood stripes, front fender stripes. Lots of fender...love. Still a small amount of rubbing but it will get worked out eventually. Currently parked until I put the lift on and get it aligned then back to daily driving and the next off road adventure.

I don't know if they work with ham or not. I know they don't work with marine radios. Not all CBs are created equal either. I like Cobras but Unidens are good too. My Cobra 29 and Texas Star 350 kicker would talk out about 250 miles. From the right hill I could talk to people from LA to Sacramento.
