Minimalist Key Fob Case

Man, this OD Green is apparently very popular.

 

From the 2 pics above, it really goes to show you how the lighting can change the color dramatically.

 

Definitely, your stock images vs the photos I tried to take in different lighting vs the two above are all very different.

 

If we ordered the octo and were part of the first 100, that means we'd get two right?

 

This ended up being more of a headache than anticipated. Some customers purchased 1 but were part of the first 100, so we included ONE.. and will be sending a refund for the purchased one. Still going through orders and identifying which ones so in the next day or 2 they should be all cleared up.

This bothers me because I'm dumb and I think I'm misunderstanding something.

You have two different fob color combos? Like say you ordered the white fob and the black fob, and the additional red buttons. Then you have

- for the fob front piece, 2 choices (black or white)
- for the fob back piece, 2 choices (black or white)
- for button 1, 2 choices (red or black)
- for button 2, 2 choices (red or black)
- for button 3, 2 choices (red or black)
- for keyring, 2 choices (octo keyring or not?)

So to my understanding there are 2^6 =64 possible combinations? I'm sure I'm missing something and now I have to know

 

I definitely see this differently than you do, I can't even math what you just did lol. But the last part is not the actually key ring, but the bottle opener bar vs non bottle opener bar.


NM I think I see it now. Don't forget the combination or having red buttons in different spots, in more than one spot or no spot.

Went together very easily. Packaging was awesome. My unlock button is also noticeably more loose and has a rattle.

 

How often do u use the unlock button? Or do u rely on the smart handle more often? I'm wondering if the rubber is compressed because it sees more use than the lock button.

I use my fob all the time. I hardly ever use the smart handle for lock or unlock. Truck is only 4 months old lol

 

Yep, makes sense just for buttons - that's what I have (looking at only the button lines, you have 2 choices 3 times -> 2^3 = 8). But I didn't think about the fact that you could technically move the buttons around - aka putting the "lock" symbol on the "unlock" slot. So when you press unlock it locks the truck and vice versa. Then we get more options

 

I dont think you can move the buttons around since each mold button has a "bar" inside that can limit where it goes, also I didnt calculate for being too creative, just being normally functional lol

 

When doing combos, take the amount of combinations per each slot.

3 slots, each having 2 combos = 2*2*2 = 8

Also, keep in mind that even though there are only 2 colors for the outer shell, you can actually have 3 combinations (front/back): black/black, white/black, and black/white
