    Sooo, any thoughts on the price delta for the transponder chips? I am checking on cutting and programming.


    Also, I'm betting you have been in deep enough. What's your thoughts about programming with TechStream at home? I need to re-find the threads where some of that was discussed. At this point, I'm a fan of getting the new chip and having three keys.

    Well. The last time that I remember reading about this, there was talk of needing an antenna. Not here:

    I like it and only need to mess with what is in the third post.

    If anyone else is going to try programming at home, I have V14.20.019 working well with an OVT / Tactrix adapter.

    Love it. Looking forward to ditching the stupid fob-key-dongle-pokey-dingus stock key. Another plus is it will match my VW key now!

    Since it's hard to judge demand, maybe it would be a good to do a GB/pre-order so everyone who is interested can jump in and you can order enough in the first batch to keep everyone happy?
