I agree. I changed it to all doors unlocking. Would be nice if it came as a button on the keyfob like almost all other vehicles.

I would be very interested in this product. I have only used the small key to lock my glove box and tie it into my board shorts when I go surfing.

I'm like El Duderino, I've only used the key to lock the glovebox and tied it into my shorts to go surf. I contemplated the Lexus credit card deal since I did the passenger door handle mod but the price is still kinda high and honestly, I still need my buttons to lock and unlock the truck. A smaller remote would be nice

This seems like it would be a great idea. Smaller keyfob case with a smaller key.

to be honest, i dont think the fob is big to begin with, so 25% reduction wouldn’t really matter to me. On top of that, losing the glovebox/tailgate key would be a disadvantage, although ive only used it once. Further, replacing plastic with plastic is a little redundant. Maybe if it was a alluminum case, that would give a little wieght and ruggedness to it. I usually dont have any keys attached since i got garage doors openers and codes to enter the places usually locked by key. Being so small, id be afraid to lose it. Im looking for something that looks cool and rugged, has a little weight to it, and maybe a led incorporated lol. Just my opinion

    It's getting there.
Yeah, add it to my tab Meso. I never use the key thing because my bed is open so why lock it. I'm expecting that 3rd gen AC 3rd brake light first though.

You should keep the tailgate locked to prevent theft of the actual tailgate. It's a thing, even if you haven't heard of it happening in your area.

I love the idea.. but I'm worried about my car battery getting completely drained by electronics. I have to keep that little lifeline attached.

At least until I get a dual battery system installed.

I use the key in my fob almost daily. It’s the only way to leave the engine running and lock the doors (without using remote start).

Could always leave a door key inside of the car for when you do this.
