So I went to this trail with couple friends last weekend
and this is trail I went though couple times before so I am pretty familiar with it.

We checked weather and all, but it rained a lot more than expected while we camped over night and water was up pretty high.

long story short, I got stuck at rut and got pulled out by friend right away so it was in water for maybe 1 min or so. During this time water came into cabin few inches. No meca/ electronic issues just wet carpet for the moment.

soon as i got home i took out the seat, lifted carpet and dried as much as I could with box fan and shop vac and a lot of towels. I am planning to take out the whole carpet soon as possible to clean& dry.

Under carriage also has been cleaned with pressure washer and soap.

    How screwed am I?

Even if you luck out mechanically, you mind be looking at a heavy dosage of mold. Definitely check the vents if it was humid in there

Electronic wires are lined under the carpet. Check to make sure those are dry as well.

I believe truck would be written off where I live if I reported this to insurance had it happened to me. I think it's a rule they have up here for water damage at door level.

If you can let it dry out with fans for a day or two running constantly, you’ll probably be okay.

do you have a vent kit that runs the rear axle vent higher? if any of the drive components were under water or drivetrain, you may end up changing all the fluids which I would check regardless.

    yup.

Good carpet cleaning, and as mentioned I'd check the rear diff if you haven't relocated the breather. Unless you opened the door, it sounds like it was in the drink for a little bit.

Rent those heater fan combos used for home water damage issues from a hardware store lowes or home depot if you got it to hell with a box fan do it and do it quickly

Same thing just happened to me last weekend except it took about 15 minutes to get myself out :/
    IMG_7813.jpg

Spent like 3 hours cleaning everything out and now its totally fine. I did change my diff fluid out of precaution you could do the same, not a bad idea if you have over 20k miles anyways.

Question is, where is the computer located?

That would be the biggest concern.

Check under your door sill plates t of precaution. Dry your wire runs/loom under there and you should be ok since most of the connections are farther up in the dash area.

Well, it's advertised as off-road, not as amphibious.
