Except those fixes may not fix the issue,if you also have too go 1 piece drive line, thats $550. And you may still have vibes, then maybe a front Ecg Bushing that is another $200 bucks .Things too really think about when you gain a lousy 2 inchs of lift !

I had the same issues with mine. Can anyone here tell me if im doing my math right?

    Tranny: 2°
    First shaft: 5.6°
    Second shaft: 7.5°
    Pinion: 4.5°

So my u joint working angles from front to back would be 3.6 1.9 and 2.5
Am i correct that my issues is a .6 difference in my second and third joint?

    Just my experience:
I lifted my 2015 TRD OR 4x4. 2 1/2 in front and 3 inches back OME (Spring packs) I put on a OME CB drop kit at time and I have no issues. I did a lot of research and chose the CB drop kit and luckily I have had no issues regarding vibrations.

I'd try the CB drop kit first.
P.S. Your TRD Pro looks sweet!

I’m calling BS. It’s a very easy problem to solve if you understand what you’re doing and you get the proper angles on your u joints.

ETA: bring it by my shop and I’ll put my money where my mouth is

well, I got my Carrier bearing drop kit and the rear Solid Steel Axle Degree Shims from Toytec delivered today so tomorrow I'm taking my truck to a local 4wd shop that I found on Yelp who has lots of very good reviews and I'm hoping they can help. I hope they can measure the driveline angles and tell what exactly what I need to correct them back to factory specs and hopefully this will resolve the issue. I'll post tomorrow what I find out after they take a look.

OK so I understand that when lifting the rear it changes the angle of the rear dif and it causes a shutter at takeoff. I took the rear 1-inch blocks out of mine and the shutter appears to still be there ever so site. I mean you really have to look for it and NOT all the time like when the blocks were installed. So what gives ? I really liked the way it looked with the lift.

Generally speaking, if the vibes are coming from the rear it’s your carrier bearing angle being off. If from the front then it’s the ecgs bushing needing to be replaced. Very common issues that are relatively inexpensive.

You mean the factory bearing needs replaced. The ECGS IS the fix for front end vibration.

OP what was the final result? When i installed the 3" in the front and rear I installed the OME CB drop at the same time expecting a vibe like my last truck had but I've never had any vibes at all. CB drop is a cheap 5 minute install involving 2 bolts it's the bheapest and easiest place to start. Of course as others have said finding out your angles first helps but I had the kit so threw it on in there and never an issue. It always strikes me odd as to how differently these trucks react to lifts and stuff

so here's the latest info......I had the Carrier bearing drop kit and the rear Solid Steel Axle Degree Shims from Toytec installed and nothing changed. I had my mechanic install the carrier bearing drop kit first and then drove it and I still noticed the minor vib/shutter from the rear upon take off. Then he installed the rear axle degree shims and I drove it and it still had the minor vib/shutter......mind you the vib/shutter is VERY minor and really not noticeable unless you have OCD like me and you know what to look for.

I did take the truck to a local off road shop (Rebel Off Road) to have them diagnose it. They first measured the drive shaft angles and they said everything was fine there and the drive shaft angles were "straight" and didn't need any adjustments. They said they felt that the minor vib/shutter was a result of the tires.....I thought that was a bogus diagnose of the problem but oh well.....I think I wasted $120 by having them look it but I understand that they spent time looking at it and need to get paid a fair and reasonable price. They did say to absolutely leave in the axle degree shims but I could remove the carrier bearing drop kit if I wanted to as that wont affect anything.

I took the truck back to Americas tire to have the tires rotated and balanced as it's been 2,500 miles since I bought the tires new. after they balanced and rotated the tires the GM told me that the front tires had minor cupping which he said was pretty normal for a lifted truck with those tires. The minor cupping tires are now on the back and the truck drives great with no shimmy like it had before at around 50mph. so balancing and rotating the tires took care of the 50 mph shimmy but he minor vib/shutter is still there.

like I keep saying it's VERY minor and now I just ignore it......

here's a shot in the dark.....any chance the actual driveshafts are not balanced properly???....I have no idea why I thought of that or if that actually means anything but my OCD is trying to find something else it could be....LOL
