That is really going to cut the light output. Of course, the SR and SR5 do not have mirror signals, so you really are not creating an unsafe condition.

Hmmm...interesting, I mean, you should still be able to see some light output, but with a signal in the headlight, this one doesn't really matter.

You could always try upgrading your blinker fluid to the 'flux cap z7000' as well to increase the brightness uhh they're too dull...

I made sure the dealer topped off my blinker fluid before I took the vehicle. I paid extra for the premium TRD blinker fluid poly blend.

Rather than spend the $9+shipping, put it towards the meso ones and you'll be 1/10th the way there.

There's a non-zero chance that the overlay will get messed up when installing it, and you'll have flushed that ~$10. and honestly... if you're stuggling to come up with ~$100, you shouldn't throw $10 for an inferior solution.

No one mentioned "struggling" to come up with $100... I don't have the extra coin (as stated) because I just purchased a large number of other mods. Trying to remain married and feed the kids/dogs...

So if I can achieve a decent/non-chrome look for the price of two coffees, then that's not a bad idea for a few weeks until Round 2 of mod fun begins.

No doubt bro!! Some of these guys on here for sure are able to throw money around a lot easier than others ha I wouldn’t mind ordering new rims and bumpers and all kinds of suspension but I got to do small things for now ha ha

Added a few overlays from import equipment - I think they turned out pretty good for a little cheap mod9B779417-7A5C-4613-B1B2-796CFB281D2D.jpg 9F731EFC-9395-48A7-94A8-4BBEE789BE9E.jpg 7004C293-9817-4355-AD1D-66B3A769CD87.jpg

I purchased those as well. The ones that I got are not "fitted" to the blinker. They just give you enough material to do both signals. I had a little trouble getting them to install cleanly but eventually got them to look presentable. A heat gun or blow dryer will help the installation a lot. Take you time. Good luck!

I did mine dry but wet may be easier as it gives you more time to fiddle with it. Have you tried using a blow dryer or heat gun? That makes things easier to fit around tight corners.
