Am I posting this in the correct section? If not let me know.

    2008 Tacoma DCLB 4.0L
    130,000

So I have this slight misfire at idle, you can feel it while sitting at a light. Also under very light acceleration you can feel the truck jerk a little bit.

    No codes

Ive changed the plugs twice, first with NGK Iridium IX Spark Plug (LFR6AIX-11)
then Denso Spark Plug Standard (K20HR-U11), nothing changed.

Under full acceleration it feels like its going from 80% power back to 100% power every few seconds. It didn't do this when i bought it, seems like it appeared overnight. Before I start throwing money at the truck does anyone have any ideas what is causing this?

Im about ready to buy injectors, O2 sensors, and coils. Tried living with it for a month buts its really getting annoying haha.

Let me know if you need any other information.

    Update:

    Replaced Coils with denson
Replaced both upstream o2s with denso

    Still misfiing.

Just ordered reman denso injectors that have been flow tested to match each other. If that doesnt work ill try the MAF next. Ill eventually find the culprit.

Have you tried cleaning the Mass Air Flow Sensor and Throttle Body?

There is a lot of troubleshooting between what you have and going down the money pit. Injectors,O2 Sensors and Coils = Big $$$.

The coils on it are still the factory ones I haven't replaced those I was just seeing if I should replace them or if there is a way to test them.

you'd have a check engine light if a coil was bad & you'd definitely be able to tell. only way to see is with a scanner. I had one go bad on my '13 and pulled the code with my scangauge.

There are a million things that could cause a low level misfire as you have. Hard to diagnose since you have no codes.

This is what Toyota lists for trouble areas on a misfire conditions.

•Open or short in engine wire harness
    •Connector connection
    •Vacuum hose connections
    •Ignition system
    •Injector
    •Fuel pressure
    •Air induction system
    •Mass Air Flow (MAF) meter
    •Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor
    •Compression pressure
    •Valve clearance
    •Valve timing
    •PCV valve and hose
    •PCV hose connections
    •ECM

Maybe not exactly the same but this might be worth a read...check the 6th post from "Nutsy" I had the "hesitation on acceleration" symptoms and a new fuel pump fixed it.
