Ok, look at this one guys. 100% satisfaction, I checked his reviews, apparently he deals exclusively fuel injectors, no bad complaints. Would you take this chance?

For years SMP Intermotor injectors have been reboxed OEM. Recently a member bought a set for a 4-cyl that introduced standard's own manufactured injectors.

They are manufactured in SMPs South Carolina facility. I've used SMP injectors in Infiniti V8 engines. They have more perfect flow matching than OEM. They are expensive and worth it.

Injectors for sure. Had the same issue on my 3.4 a while back and was actually pretty easy to diagnose which one was misfiring when hot. All you do is drive around until it starts misfiring, pull over and check resistance across all injectors. One will likely be way high like 300ohms if I remember right.

Very impressive, SMP injectors. Definitely worth the cost. Can't bring myself, yet, on getting an ECU. Maybe if replacing injectors doesn't work. As for checking resistance when hot; #4 is sort of buried under a few things. Do you just pierce the wires going to the injector, or do I need to remove the electrical connector, and measure resistance across the pins of the injector?

    Thanks for your patience/help guys!!!

Ok you all, we received the new Denso Injectors yesterday, and we just installed them. That was the culprit; the new Injectors we replaced 500 miles ago were defective. The truck still isn't perfect, gotta tighten the exhaust leak, and replace a vacuum hose, but it runs strong, and doesn't die when hot.

I'd like to thank each and everyone of you who took the time to read, keep up, and offer advice. Pretty confident we would have resorted to paying big bucks at the garage, or just given up, weren't it for you all! You guys sure know your stuff.

Big Mahalo to the Tacoma World ohana!!!

    Glad you got it sorted:thumbsup:
It's sad that there's so many cheap/knockoff/counterfeit parts on ebay and Amazon but they are there so buyer beware:spending:
