Damn you got that quick. The relief in the threads is sweet too. Be interesting to see if you catch anything w the magnet.

I like the magnet because last August my OEM radiator cap lost its guts and fell inside the radiator, who knows where it's all at inside the coolant system. That was the first time that I overheated. Rather or not this magnet will work and do what it's intended to do.. I hope so!

I bet you’d find everything if u dumped the radiator out upside down. The passages seem tiny in a rad haha.

Thats the plan...to open that lil bad boy up that's been working hard all these years and check for any blockages/restrictions as I suspect is going on..

Fwiw, my truck can get hot too. If memory serves me, I had the coolant up to 242* just at an idle in this az heat. That’s why I went with the upgraded electric fan for the rad. Lemme know how your install goes, I might upgrade my rad one day.

Im also doing the e fan install that you have. But I'm making my own kit. The fan connector that I need is nearly a hundred bucks, and the 12 pin harness on the controller side is just as much. No wonder that dudes kit is as much as it is right!?

The radiator will get installed next weekend, still waiting on the silicone hoses which will be here next Wednesday

You talking about the spal connector? Or is it something else? My female side was only 25$. Make damn sure your terminate it right. Or That bitch will generate some heat lol.

I think I ended up using 4 guage. But it was mostly because my terminations were shit. Could’ve definitely downsized. I got my connectors from eds parts. My next mod is taping into the ecu for my 100% bypass. When the AC compressor kicks on, fan goes to 100%.

The drain plug appears to be better designed and looks a lot better than whats on the CSF radiator.

There's one little spot that I can feel a slight edge with a fingernail that I'll touch up with a fine file..

I know it was brought up in the csf thread : the mishimoto cap is 19 # csf is 20# oem is 15 or 16# . There was concern that this increase might cause problems with the heater? Anyone think that small of a pressure increase could cause problems?

Electric Fan conversion is most appropriate for the new Mishimoto Radiator... From General Motors :stirthepot:
    20220223_163950.jpg

Still waiting for the Silicone Hoses and the Fan Controller to arrive. This is a Pulse Width Modulated fan (3 wire), and will take a special fan controller
