    The one mounted on the shroud works just fine. I took off the shroud to prep for a head gasket replacement and aftermarket exhaust cam gears that I had recently done..

    Installed a Mishimoto in my 3rd gen today, install went great overall and I am really happy with the final product and fitment.

    Liked for the "thread necromancy" meme. Esp. "...arise by moronic power.."

    But seriously there's nothing wrong with necroing threads of any vintage if the context supports anything to do with long-term durability & reliability of a part, procedure, etc. over months and years.

    If someone installed an aftermarket radiator in 2012 and it's still going strong after 285K miles or whatever, that's just as interesting to me as notes about ones that failed after 3 weeks or 3 months.
