That is awesome Paul! We were the next car behind you, but couldn't see you ahead of us with the growth so thick! Zoom does great with the camera and sound affects!

    Thanks for posting!

Thanks Paul for sharing the pictures. I enjoyed them all. I hope I can go the next time around.

Do either you or David know if Niel lives in east (SD) county? I ask because I do see what appears to be that very same 1st gen with the camper in downtown La Mesa from time to time.

Okay so I have been seeing a different Taco then. In fact my memory is returning. The one I see has a flip pac camper and not a popup. Thanks for the link too. :)

Baja 500 is running NOW... But the roads they use are NOT as tough as the one we were on last weekend!!!

"NOT as tough as the one we were on last weekend!!! " Really, David?

Before the Mision run, I was in Erendira and talking to a gringo who posts @ expedition portal and we talked a bit about pre-running and he told me the Baja 500 route is tough, so I got discouraged, especially the day before I had to turn around after attempting to run the Sto Tomas to Punta San Jose trail. So I proceeded to El Rosario BajaCactus instead that afternoon.

The road to Santa Maria is way tougher than any Baja race course... way.

    Just the basics
I'd be interestedin either Baja or Moab. Looks like a great time. I do need to get a passport though for a trip down south.
