I missed one of my rotations but just did it the next service. I keep rotating every 5k miles so the tires still look very good after 20k miles.

Gents, the Owner's Manual of my 2017 (Page 466) clearly specifies a front to back rotation. My #1 Tacoma World pet peeve ... RTFM ... lol!

Yes, taking something out of context.

My question specifically was what others would do if a rotation interval was missed, not which direction to rotate the tires as the way you quoted my question implies.

    RTFP, lol!

Don't think I have ever had tires rotated on a vehicle and have always gotten good mileage out of them. At least good enough for me. Can't remember ever having a flat. Just lucky I guess.
In fact, I noticed recently the spare on my '96 Tacoma with 414,000 miles has never been used. So my point is; don't worry about it. Get them rotated next time it's convenient. Life's to short to let such things bother you.

Thanks for pointing that out, my last several cars weren't like that. Fortunately I read my manual before actually doing anything, but I'm glad you pointed this out. This is my first non - Subaru in a while.

You should really take a break from the internet. All the shit you're saying has nothing to do with his questions. You're being a dick for the sake of being a dick.

Just get them rotated and balanced the next scheduled maintenance.

    Yeah.
You should be able to take it back and have them do it since they missed it, then just resume the normal schedule. Me, I have trust issues and don't let them touch anything unless it's a recall or service campaign. I just do it myself. That way I know things have been torqued properly.

It can wait, but they should fix their mistake if you take it back. I personally only rotated my tires every oil change, so every 10k.

Its totaled. I suggest looking for a new truck.

I'd do it now and then again at 20K just to keep them even. Then every 5k.

Easy thing to remember up here in the Great White North.... It's like in spring (take off snow tires)...In the fall (put on snow tires)...

Mileage has nothing to do with it.....:canada:

I can’t believe I sat here and read through this thread. Dude, it’s not that serious. People here are just pulling your leg. Just don’t stress the rotation. If you are that worried, like other said, rotate them yourself or bring them to someone that can.
