Missing bolt??

Noticed this threaded opening on the front of the engine during my oil change. Can anybody confirm or deny if a bolt is supposed to be there? I haven’t noticed it before and I don’t think a bolt would have worked out in that spot, but I’ve seen stranger things. Grounding point maybe?

Or you mean in the valve cover?

Not a ground on the plastic valve cover, if anything it's the mounting point for on of the ball snaps for the engine vanity cover or may be for something used on a different model that has the same engine.

You're not missing anything critical in the photo other than your dipstick.

 

My 2020 is the same.

 

I just looked at my truck and the hole is open too. Nothing to worry about.

 

Haha yeah, had my dipstick out for oil change.
