My 2005 Tacoma recently back from frame replacement.

I just had the overhead console become dramatically loose, with the front falling down. It appears there may be two missing female clips that receive post on each side of the console.

Console only being held on by rear screw at this time

Where/ what clips go into roof?

The dealership parts guys should have the number and diagram.
1st, make sure they are not still hanging on by a thread to either the end of the console, or the other end

Find someone with a 3d printer and talk them into making them for you.

They are steel, probably for a reason. I imagine they need to be springy to click and lock into place, yet maintain the weight of the console and bouncing around. Where id assume plastic would ware down and fail?

    Dunno

For .77 i wouldnt bother tryin ta save monies
