As I'm tackling my power steering issue(s), I noticed this bracket not attached to anything. Can anyone tell me where it goes and what size bolt it's supposed to be (part number would be awesome) 99' Tacoma V6 engine.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
It’s either going to be a short m8x1.25 or m6x1.0 bolt.

The bolt is most likely installed the bracket was missed .

In fact the bolt right behind the bracket might be the one

Looks like the brackets there. Just need to find a place it attaches. Guess someone forgot to reinstall. Where and when did you have work under the hood done.

I’ve owned the truck for about 6 months I bought it from a Toyota dealer so they were the last ones to work on it.

Thank you Wsidr1 that picture confirms where I thought it went.

Your welcome. I remember having that bolt out a few months ago when I put VC gaskets, cam seals, etc in my truck. I remember because I was thinking "man, the designer really went over board with the size of that bolt". Short and beefy for a little wire harness bracket.
