Missing front bed tie down points?

    Look again. There's the silver colored hooks he's referring to that are factory. There's also a tie down cleat, but that wasn't what he was asking about.

    I have a similar problem but Looking to know if the side tie downs can be used in the center location. Does toyota or some other company make a tie down that fits the center location? See picture.

    The center location is for the cover not a tie down. You can add a rail to the front (from a 2nd gen) like you have on the side of the beds. But I wouldn't use it for anything heavy.

    You're better off adding rings to the floor in the front with bed bolts. They're cheap and much stronger.

    rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.

    Got a bunch of these to put on the untility trailer years ago. Tractor supply has 'em. No idea now of the part description.
    They are made for carrage bolt heads, but the hole spacing is ideal for the two threaded holes in the taco bed rail.

    My trail didnt have them bc the bed boxes were covering. At $30 a piece i will try to find another option or put that towards some molle panels
