    Hi all,

I took my truck (2011 double cab, V6) somewhere for an oil change last time and when I went to do it myself this time around, it turns out the rubber nipple that is removed from the oil filter catch to drain it is gone and an empty bottle of oil is wedged under it instead. I'm assuming the place I took it to lost it and never said anything. Does any one know the proper name of this part and where I could get one? Thanks!

U really don't need it. I see a lot come through without them. It's no biggie. They take them out to drain the spill as I'm sure you know. Leaving a catch bottle does happen. It's not right but it does.
I think they call it a drain cap but we never worry about them if they are missing. I'm sure a vacuume cap can work. I would think toyota would have a listing but never needed one.

Thanks for answering! I didn't think it was a huge deal because I obviously haven't had any problems, but I wanted to be sure so that helps. Thanks!
