Missing piece under headlight

    Got mine frome ebay. 3 times..lol....keeps fallin when i hammerdown thru mud or water....so i zip tied them. I just bought color matched paint in a can and sprayed them

    There are plastic clips that suppose to engage slots in these inserts. Plastic gets brittle over time, so when you loose the insert check all clips if that are OK, still springing back and not broken. Otherwise putting the new insert i that hole would be like putting a water into bottomless bucket.

    to remove this piece, with the grill and everything else in tact, do you just take a screw drive and pop them towards the center of the grill? not sure how to remove them without damaging!

    I'd go all redneck on it and spray some foam in there, shave it a little and spray paint it.

    Mine popped off when off roading, looks annoying to be missing one side but have been too lazy to source a new one.

    They have them on Amazon. Just shop tacoma filler... they will pop up. Good luck. I put mine in with a sheet metal screw! hopefully they stay now!
